New Hut Bungalow ★

- We payed 50 baht per person per night more for a bungalow right at the beach which we thought was absolutely worth it. - Bungalows were simple but had a fan, electricity, a lamp, a mirror and multiple hooks to hang stuff (even a towel was included). - Restaurant + little shop next to the bungalows.

- Hygiene in the bathrooms wasn’t always the best, more of a camping vibe, and very sandy which made sense since it’s right next to the beach. - No bin in the room. - The sea/beach in front of the bungalows is full with seaweed, so you couldn’t really swim/tan. Though, you can walk to another beach which was cleaner.

It was a man from the stuff Pwoun-Pawun ,he was extremely rude and not helpful at all. His attitude all the days wasn’t professional he was tired and he couldn’t communicate right with people

Really nice place. Cute little huts but comfy beds and nice bathroom. Right on the beach, we didn't get a front row room in the beach but even the ones in the back are on the sand, with little balconies at front with two chairs and a broom( so you can keep the sand out of your room! At night we took our chairs down at the beach and chilled... Fantastic place definitely worth the money.. also the restaurant is pretty good.. nice food (breakfast -dinner) and the prices are ok compared to the area! There is also a small shop next to the restaurant for t-shirt, sunglasses etc Would definitely stay again

The huts are very close to one another and you can hear neighbours if they are loud.. thankfully on our stay everyone was respectful and the place makes you to want to chill. Also our room was too small to even keep our backpacks inside, but there are bigger rooms

Sadly the beach isn’t the most clean one but there’s a rlyyy nice beach only a few mins away with the scooter. Chrystal beach/silver beach

We thought we had AC in the hut, unfortunately it was a fan. This made sleeping at night more difficult in the heat.

I opted for beach front bungalow as 1 was vacant. Strongly recommend staying with beach view not garden.

New Hut Bungalow was a lovely place to stay. The bungalows are cute and small, comfy enough, with a good fan, right on the beach. The restaurant is very good, there is also a really nice vegan restaurant opposite as well as lots of other restaurants around with cheap delicious food. You can walk along the beach and it is nice to relax on.

The only downsides were the wifi does not work in the bungalows, to use wifi I had to go sit near the restaurant on the beach or go near reception, but eh that is completely fine. Showers are cold, but most places use cold showers anyway.

Location is close enough to lamai centre. (12 min walking) Restaurant has decent food for a decent price.

I having traveling around thr world since 3 years and started to travel around South East Asia since 2 months. And I think this place was one of the worst I've ever stayed. The bungalow is small, under the mattress we found heaps of sand. Mattress has iron inside and is not comfy. U are in front of the beach but is the water is dirty and brown. Behind the bungalow u have a kind of river were the water is super stinky and black. U don't have toilet paper in the bathroom !!! And if u want to use it u have to PAY at the reception for one! U don't have hot water. And u don't have WiFi in your room. Only in the restaurant. Don't have a common area to sit or chill meanwhile u are using Internet and if u want to charge your laptop or phone at the only place that u have WiFi (restaurant) is NOT ALLOWED! Last thing we were 6 people and we booked for 3 bungalows for 3 nights we just asked once if i can refill a hot water thermo and they answered they will charge me 5 bhats for glass till they fill it. I said that i don't think is smart or polite to charge that amount to a customer that is using and paying facilities and the restaurant everyday. They started to be very mad and nervous and be loud trying to explain me all the money that cost for them a big tank of water.

Awesome spot on the beach. Loved the little hut! The only pity is that the staff is greedy and not very friendly. Just the actual owner was a really nice lady. They don't even offer free water. When i asked for hot water for my medication they charged me for it. Just 5 baht but still ... for the price of the place i feel this should be part of the service. Wifi is good but they shut it down after 10/11pm.

Value for money. Very Helpful staff. Muay Thai training across the street. Ok restaurant. Cosy bungalows.

The beach is not that nice. A few minutes walk to centre of town (which didn’t bother us but might be good to know).

Lack of storage space in the rooms (superior bungalows) and would appreciate small water fountains for washing feet (quite common in Thailand) as the bungalows are directly on the beach

Right on the beach... Excellent shared facilities, perfectly poking rooms with really comfy mattresses and fan... Stayed for another four nights... Awesome quiet beach, no touts perfect!! Food and cocktails AMMMMAZING in the restaurant too! Would book again :)

No hot shower lol

Our bungalow was clean, neat and enough for our purpouse. The shared bathroom was very clean. The New Hut Village was colourful and calm. Good location, next to shops and restaurants.

The staff wasn't very polite or happy, they seemed concerned about the hotel management. The management wasn't polite either. WiFi didn't work in bungalow. The beach was quite dirty, although there were staff cleaning it every day.

Clean, cheap, good location, friendly staff, good restaurant, excellent happy hour. Great value for money! Exactly as advertised.

Beach was not the prettiest - shallow, rough water with quite a bit of seaweed debris. The staff cleaned the beach rigorously, however.

The Owners and staff were amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Absolutely delightful amptmosphere, food is excellent quality and great value for money. They make you feel like family. I will be sad to leave tomorrow

I could not make any improvement

We were there during the Pabuk storm, the owner of the place was just great! She took care of all of us and evacuate us to her place. I thanks her for that. On top of that the place is perfect just at the beach, bungalow confortable, clean and all nicely decorated. Great atmosphere at night. I highly recommend :)

I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality I found at this resort. The owner leads from love and all the staff are exceptional. You are made to feel at home from the minute you arrive. I Would highly recommend this beautiful haven. I will be sad to leave xx
