Paradise on the beach!

The location was magical, opening our door to the beach it was paradise, absolutely made our stay in Koh Samui. Location is very accessible and great to walk down to the beach to the night markets.

Beautiful location and friendly staff so much so that we didn't want to leave!

We had a hut on the beach which was a perfect location for us. Listening to the waves lapping on the shore was very calming and soothing. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant served lovely food, and drinks, at a reasonable price. The tempura prawns were fabulous The huts are in walking distance to Lamai town centre and you can walk along the beach to other sunbathing spots/restaurants etc if you so wish. I would definitely love to come back here for another stay!

We stayed for 10 days and the only improvement I can think of, that would have been nice, is to have been offered a clean towel and/or bed change during our stay. That being said, I'm sure if we'd have asked the staff would have done it for us so we couldn't have been that bothered at the time lol

Thank you for a lovely stay!

I chose a basic, cheap on the beach option and this was perfect. Very simple, mattress on the floor with a fan. Lovely restaurant on the beach with great food and staff. I spent hours each morning on WiFi catching up with my world. Very clean shared bathroom.

The houses are small but there is everything you need, toilet, shower, air conditioning... Literally a few steps from the sea...

Don't expect luxury... It's a small house by the sea. Right next to the house there's a restaurant and it can be noisy...

Sadly the beach isn’t the most clean one but there’s a rlyyy nice beach only a few mins away with the scooter. Chrystal beach/silver beach

I opted for beach front bungalow as 1 was vacant. Strongly recommend staying with beach view not garden.

Wonderful

Really nice place. Cute little huts but comfy beds and nice bathroom. Right on the beach, we didn't get a front row room in the beach but even the ones in the back are on the sand, with little balconies at front with two chairs and a broom( so you can keep the sand out of your room! At night we took our chairs down at the beach and chilled... Fantastic place definitely worth the money.. also the restaurant is pretty good.. nice food (breakfast -dinner) and the prices are ok compared to the area! There is also a small shop next to the restaurant for t-shirt, sunglasses etc Would definitely stay again

The huts are very close to one another and you can hear neighbours if they are loud.. thankfully on our stay everyone was respectful and the place makes you to want to chill. Also our room was too small to even keep our backpacks inside, but there are bigger rooms

Wonderful

New Hut Bungalow was a little slice of heaven for me. The peace and tranquility was exactly what I went for. Having the wonderful staff who worked there looking out for me and being so kind and attentive as a solo, female traveler was exceptional! The service and management of the restaurant/ bar was top level. I felt safe, welcomed, understood. The manageress, Pow, (sorry if I spelt your name wrong darling) was so professional, so efficient and also so kind. I'll never forget the lovely service they all gave me. The huts are perfectly basic if you just want to meditate and go to sleep and wake up with the sound of the ocean. So chill. One thing only, the music was ok. (Sorry I am a musician so I know the importance) but actually it would have been nice to hear some authentic, current thai music sometimes... personally Im going there to feel more of the culture and I think most people are so maybe mix in some current Thai music with the international music. Mix it up, play the music you love from Thailand!! Don't change too much for tourists, your energy and authenticity is what counts ️ Thanks for everything, sincerely, see you next year!! xxx love Emma xx

Worth it

New Hut Bungalow was a lovely place to stay. The bungalows are cute and small, comfy enough, with a good fan, right on the beach. The restaurant is very good, there is also a really nice vegan restaurant opposite as well as lots of other restaurants around with cheap delicious food. You can walk along the beach and it is nice to relax on.

The only downsides were the wifi does not work in the bungalows, to use wifi I had to go sit near the restaurant on the beach or go near reception, but eh that is completely fine. Showers are cold, but most places use cold showers anyway.

Cute bungalow close to the beach, good toilet facilities!

Gets super hot inside and no fly screen on the door so its impossible to be inside until dark when it cools down but for the price its not too bad!

Great beachside location. Unique stay.

Great location on beach. Short walk to Lamai Main Street. Restaurant on site.

We thought we had AC in the hut, unfortunately it was a fan. This made sleeping at night more difficult in the heat.

Very Good

- We payed 50 baht per person per night more for a bungalow right at the beach which we thought was absolutely worth it. - Bungalows were simple but had a fan, electricity, a lamp, a mirror and multiple hooks to hang stuff (even a towel was included). - Restaurant + little shop next to the bungalows.

- Hygiene in the bathrooms wasn’t always the best, more of a camping vibe, and very sandy which made sense since it’s right next to the beach. - No bin in the room. - The sea/beach in front of the bungalows is full with seaweed, so you couldn’t really swim/tan. Though, you can walk to another beach which was cleaner.
